Eugenio Brito Honorato engraved at two distinct periods. In his early years as an artist, he was a member of the Engravers of Viña del Mar group, where he began his studies at the Fine Arts School in 1942 and 1948, and was extremely close to Carlo Hermosilla, who was one of his engraving teachers. Roberlindo Villegas, Medardo Espinosa, and Pedro Skarpa are also on the list; many of them were engravers connected to the master Carlo Hermosilla and the Fine Arts School in Viña del Mar. The first three images (1), (2), and (3) from this sequence of engravings belong to gravure or etching. In 1970, these engravings were shown in the "Contemporary Chilean Engraving" exhibition in Mexico. The following engravings are known from his second stage as an engraver: (4), (5), (6), and (7), which correspond to lithographs done between 1976 and 1977 in the workshops of the School of Art at the University of Concepción.
